The new Visitor Centre is dedicated to the distilling career of Ed Dodson, our current Distillery manager. Ed started his distilling career in 1963 at Convalmore and Parkmore Distilleries. He joined Glen Moray in 1974 as Brewer, before becoming Assistant Manager in 1987. Ed has a real passion for Glen Moray have spent over 30 years living and breathing this finest quality malt whisky.

The Visitor Centre is situated on the site of the old cooperage and the building was completely restored by distillery employees and local tradesmen. The new Visitor Centre is bigger with enhanced facilities including a café, a tasting area and a bigger retail area. We have also taken the opportunity to display old distillery equipment, the distillery history and old photographs.
