Spirit of Speyside Festival 2006, 27th April to 1st May

Glen Moray has a full programme of activity during this year's Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival. Please book tickets in advance on www.spiritofspeyside.com or by telephoning the Visitor Centre on 01343 550900.

The Centre will be open throughout the Festival. Regular tours are £2.50 and will be at 930, 1100, 1230, 1400 and 1530 on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Monday. Sunday tours will be 1030, 1200, 1330 and 1500.

The main events are as follows:

The Fifth Chapter tours - tour with Graham Coull, Distillery Manager, followed by a nosing and tasting of Glen Moray expressions from the past five decades. £15. Friday, Saturday, Monday 2pm.

Wind Farm Dram - Bus leaves Glen Moray for a tour around local windfarm with dram, followed by tour of distillery and bowl of soup. £20. Friday and Monday 9am.

Auld Alliance Dinner - celebrating the historic alliance between Scotland and France with a Scottish dinner served with whisky, champagne and cognac. £20. Saturday 7.15pm

Talk - Dr Bill Lumsden, the Glenmorangie Company's Global Brand Ambassador, covers "Glen Moray - The Unsung Hero". Includes extensive tasting. £15. Monday 5.30pm.
