Graham Coull, Glen Moray Distillery Manager, has selected a special cask to be bottled for his Manager's Choice 2008 bottling.
He has selected a 1995 Sherry butt, filled on 12th October 1995 and bottled on 3rd March 2008.
This deep, dark 'mahogany hued' expression of Glen Moray is a rare and very unusual opportunity to taste 'Speysides's Finest' after it has been fully matured in a Spanish, ex-Oloroso Sherry cask. The flavours of the rich, creamy and fruity Sherry held in the oak have imbued this Glen Moray Single Sherry Cask with an intense and indulgently sweet nose and mouth-filling richness.
The cask yielded 592 bottles at the cask strength of 59.6% abv.
The bottles are exclusively available from the Visitor Centre and website shops from 1st May 2008 at £60 per bottle (plus postage and packing where applicable).
