This is classic Glen Moray at its very best – exceptionally smooth and well-rounded and bursting in sweet and soft aromas. At full strength, the aroma is luscious and remarkably soft with vanilla and custard filled doughnuts. It is reminiscent of a baker's oven with lemon meringue pie, fruit scones and fresh pancakes.
With water, the sweetness becomes more scented revealing lemon zest, peaches and hints of heather honey and delicate herbs. Dried apricots and figs are present in the background
The mouthfeel is remarkably soft, smooth and exceedingly creamy as the flavours literally melt on the tongue.
The taste is an immediate appearance of creamy vanilla, peaches and lemon bonbons dissolving on the tongue. Later, hints of lightly chewy dried fruits and oils are discovered.
The finish is medium in length and delicious to the end with lemon curd and figs.
