The gallow hill flip

Uniting our Classic whisky with malty porter beer, our creamy take on a Flip cocktail, looks back at Glen Moray's past. Our distillery was originally a brewery on Elgin’s Gallow Hill, until in 1897, it became the Glen Moray we know and love today.

Ingredients
  • 50ml Glen Moray Classic
  • 25ml Black Isle Porter
  • 1 tsp John D. Taylor's Velvet Falernum
  • 1 tsp Scottish honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla syrup
  • 1 pinch allspice
  • 1 egg
  • Chocolate shavings, to garnish

HOW TO MAKE

Add all the ingredients to a cocktail shaker and shake well. Then add ice to chill and dilute. Serve in a goblet with chocolate shavings on top. Slàinte!
